Modern Germany – Society, Politics, and Culture

This course introduces students to contemporary concepts in German society, politics, and culture. This course brings together students’ evolving linguistic skills and their understanding of today’s Germany through exposure to various types of discourses and contexts. This course also considers the role of German as an official and working language in the framework of European and international organizations and introduces students to specific terminology and sources that enhance their research, communication, and language skills.

Credits: 3 Cr.
