Jean Crombois

Jean F. Crombois is Associate Professor of EU Politics at the American University in Bulgaria since 2005. He is a Belgian national residing in Bulgaria. His main areas of research and expertise include the EU’s Eastern partnership, EU diplomacy and national foreign policy of the EU member states towards Russia and China. In addition to his academic publications, he has published on current affairs in newspapers and news magazines such as The Contemporary Review (Oxford), Revue des Deux Mondes (Paris) and La Libre Belgique (Brussels). He has also collaborated as an expert with some Brussels based think tanks such as the European Liberal Forum and the Martens Center of European Studies.
