Minister Shalapatova Addresses AUBG Community on Social Development

AUBG welcomed Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivanka Shalapatova to campus today, where she engaged in a thought-provoking discussion with students, staff, and faculty. During the visit, organized by the Post Society Club, Minister Shalapatova offered insightful perspectives on her ministry’s work, delving into critical societal issues often overlooked.

Through the moderation of prof. Bernaciak, Shalapatova presented the causes and potential solutions to the pressing demographic challenge, highlighting the ministry’s ongoing efforts in the sphere. The minister also provided her broader perspective on the country’s social development trajectory and the ministry’s role in shaping it. Throughout the panel, Minister Shalapatova made sure to motivate the AUBG community to embrace the civic engagement initiatives that the ministry is opening to the public. She insisted on the active role of the youth in shaping the policies, as they would impact their future.
