Welcoming New Students for Spring 2024

While the hype of the new year’s resolutions is almost over, AUBG is just starting the celebrations of the beginning of the Spring semester on campus. And while the returning students are still packing and getting ready to get back on campus, there is another group of students that has already unpacked and settled in their new rooms – the First-Year students who start their journey during the spring semester  and the Study Abroad students. For the Spring 2024 semester, AUBG welcomes 20 first-year students and 35 study abroad students from 19 different countries.

Today, they started with the traditional orientation week, which will allow them to immerse into their AUBG lives would it be for a semester (as the study abroad students) or for the next four years of their lives.

The group gathered for a welcome breakfast where President Ensign and Dean Sabina Wien greeted the newcomers. President Ensign assured the students that the AUBG community stands by the students “to make sure that what you want your dreams and luckily that you have great and successful life.”

“All of us are here to make sure you not only have the knowledge you need at this critically important time in human history but that you have the skills and you know how to make a difference in your life.”

On her part, Dean Sabina Wien welcomed the students to their new home – the AUBG campus and wished them to enjoy the orientation activities while getting to know the AUBG staff and all the services provided for the students.
