Cognitive Psychology

PSY 3003

This course introduces students to the emerging interactions of psychology, artificial intelligence, linguistics, social media, neuroscience, and evolutionary biology. It examines a variety of approaches to the study of how humans and other intelligent systems represent, understand, perceive, and use language, as well as learn and plan purposeful actions. Topics include perception, attention, memory, knowledge representation, language, problem-solving, thinking, and reasoning.
